The Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea
Served Fridays and Saturdays, the Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea takes its cue from the garden that surrounds Pippin’s. Enjoy it beneath the trees on our terrace, inside the restaurant, or in the comfort of the lounge, though we think the garden makes the best seat in the house.
Served on Fleur des Alpes fine bone china by Rosenthal, the menu brings together classic afternoon tea favourites with the best of the season. Expect warm scones with berry jam and Cornish clotted cream, elegant finger sandwiches, and pastries inspired by ingredients grown in our own garden.
For something a little stronger, pair your afternoon tea with one of Sprout’s seasonal cocktails. The Jam Bramble blends Beefeater gin with seasonal jam and citrus sherbet, while a glass of Nyetimber Demi Sec makes any afternoon feel like an occasion.
The Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea is £55 per person, £65 with a glass of Nyetimber Demi Sec, or £70 with a trio of seasonal cocktails from Sprout. Available Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm. Advance booking of 48 hours is required.

Little ones are invited to enjoy their own Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea, thoughtfully created for smaller appetites and curious imaginations. Ideal after a morning at the Natural History Museum or an afternoon exploring Kensington’s parks, it’s a treat the whole family can look forward to.
The menu includes a trio of classic finger sandwiches, warm scones with seasonal berry jam and Cornish clotted cream, and a selection of playful sweet treats. Expect a white chocolate and raspberry bunny cake alongside miniature garden-inspired bakes, all made to bring a little extra magic to the table.
Children’s Hidden Garden Afternoon Tea is £25 per child.
